No two wellness coaches are alike, so what I share below is a window into how I, as one wellness coach, work with my individual clients.
To begin with, I come to the table with deep respect for my clients – their experiences, perspectives, what’s important to them, and what they want for their health, well-being, and life. What’s important to the client is what is important to me in working with them.
I approach the coach-client relationship as a partnership, a collaboration. Similar to a mountain climbing guide, I will not do the work for you, but I provide tremendous support, tools, resources, and more for your successful journey in realizing what you want for your health and well-being.
I use my training in the science of behavior change to help you connect the dots between where you are with your health and well-being and where you want to be. Together, we engage in energizing conversations that facilitate the process of improving your health and well-being. Here are just a few of the questions we might explore in the early coaching sessions: Who do you want to be when it comes to your health and well-being? How do you want to live? And what is it going to take to make it so?
During our 45-50 minute sessions (usually weekly or every other week), we explore your dreams and desires for your health, well-being, and life, and create a personalized roadmap and action plan for achieving those dreams and desires. It’s not a one-size-fits-all quick fix. Instead, it’s a journey of discovering what works best for you over time.
So, with all of that said, I’m curious – What’s on your mind related to your health and well-being? And how might your life be different a year from now if you truly prioritized your health and well-being?
